The Splat Deck was designed to be used as a therapeutic tool to assist people in exploring their thoughts and feelings. The deck consists of 39 pictures plus a questions prompt card. The individual is asked to explore their ideas related to the image to evoke free association of thoughts, ideas, feelings and situations. The administrator of the cards is encouraged to allow the participant to say whatever comes to mind which can be further explored to create a deeper understanding of oneself and the world around them.
